Deliveroo Rebrand – When I first heard of Deliveroo I thought it was an Australian delivery service. But it turned out to be a UK based online food delivery startup. Deliveroo was launched in 2013 and soon became one of London’s fastest growing startups. The company has now expanded to markets 12 countries raising nearly £200 million.
Deliveroo has become the latest company to rebrand it’s logo with a flat design. The new logo was designed by DesignStudio, who is also responsible for the new English Premier League logo.
The new logo is a flat abstract head of a kangaroo, which is much cleaner and simple compared to the old logo of a cartoon kangaroo carrying a shopping bag.
“We explored a variety of routes for a new logo – some that kept the kangaroo as its primary inspiration, to completely new logos that left our kangaroo roots behind,” the food delivery company said in their blog post.
